TAMM Film Festival- (The Art of Movie Making) Film Festival-Free Event-PG

  • CNY Arts Center 121 Cayuga St Fulton, NY, 13069 United States (map)

The Art of Movie Making Film Festival celebrates the often-overlooked artists who create the props, sets, costumes, special effects, and other behind-the-scenes elements of film and TV production. Our festival provides a unique opportunity for filmmakers, fans, and industry professionals to appreciate the art and craftsmanship that goes into creating immersive film and television experiences. Our goal is to celebrate these talented artists and give them an opportunity to gain credibility and get connected to studios and production companies. Our festival has been endorsed by Mark Polish, Director of such films as Twin Falls Idaho (1999), Murmur (2022) and The Astronaut Farmer (2006). Join us for our 2nd Annual in-person event at the CNY Community Arts Center on June 9th and 10th, featuring live screenings, food, fun, a costume contest, and vendor booths. If you sell your art, join us for an exciting day of celebrating arts and giving demos. Prizes for the costume contest include subscriptions to the amazing Stan Wintons School of Character Design.

Friday June 9th 2:00 - 7:00 PM (time subject to change depending on our final submissions) Screenings are free and open to the public. Many of the films have adult themes, so we do not recommend this event for kids.
