Unwrapped - a Christmas Special

"Unwrapped" Is a vision from local vocalist, producer and director Gina Mazzoli. describes this as a nostalgic staged version of Christmas specials from the 1960's. Mazzoli says "Picture this-the Bing Crosby special featuring David Bowie mixed with a hallmark ending." Gina Mazzoli hosts a variety of talent including surf rock legends Underwater Bosses, The Josh Taylor Project, Dan Williams and Company, rising stars- The Goodnight Ladies, Speakeasy newcomers to the Arts Scene and local favorites Whiskey Spirits. 

Mazzoli hosts these guests in her "home" for a party, where some of the musicians are invited guests, some are wished for and some are entirely uninvited. Gina is a board member of the Oswego Opera Theatre and The Arts Scene. Mazzoli states "The night promises musicians in costumes playing roles, perhaps even a spooky surprise- delicious treats, audience participation, raffles from Santa and much more." Don't miss this one night only event!

  • 4pm-4:45pm (Prince/Princess Ballerinas: Ages 3-8)

    Does your child love to dance, imagine and play dress up? Then they will LOVE being a Princess Ballerina. This 45 minute Thursday evening class is the perfect introduction to creative movement and Ballet using our imagination along the way.

    5:00pm-5:45pm Dance & Adventures: Ages 6-9)

    This 45 minute Combination (Ballet/Jazz/Hip Hop Combo). Dance Adventures is themed dance classes for ages 6-9 year old's.

  • 5:55pm-6:55pm (Lyrical (Ballet/Jazz): Ages 10-12)

    Lyrical dance is a style that combines ballet and jazz dance techniques. It is known as a style that tells a story, usually to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions the choreographer feels from the lyrics of the song. This style concentrates on an individual approach and expressiveness of such emotions as love, joy, hurt, or anger. It does not concentrate on the dancer's precision of movement. We go over ballet technique to have a foundation of ballet and jazz.

  • 7:00pm-8:00pm (Hip Hop): Ages 10-12)

This 60 minute beginner/intermediate Hip-Hop Class. Hip Hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.
