Community artists came together in April 2011 and formed "Arts Partners"  to raise awareness of the economic and cultural benefits of the arts and establish an arts center in Central New York.

The performing arts were represented by members of the former Port City Theatre and Fulton Community Theater currently producing shows in Jubilee Hall at Holy Trinity Church, 305 Buffalo St.  Fulton Art Association advocated for visual artists.

We spent the first year attracting attention from all segments of the arts - studio fine arts, writing arts and performing arts. Members promoted a variety of mediums and passions at events and in public programs, all in pursuit of a roof over our heads to begin programming.

In June 2012 we were offered space at State St. United Methodist Church in Fulton...three basement classrooms, access to two kitchens, and a large capacity dining hall - plus our own separate entrance where we could put up a sign and invite the public in. Time to go to work!

As a leading promoter of the arts, we will offer the most enticing artistic opportunities we can create in performing arts, visual and literary art through performances, exhibits, readings, instruction and invitations to participate. We are dedicated to serving the needs of our community each and every day and we'll deliver an engaging experience every time.

Working to support the arts in Fulton and Oswego County, we are committed to creating a viable arts center with YOU in mind. Whether you are looking to practice your art or learn a new one, make new friends or meet up with old ones, Fulton's CNY Arts Center wants to be your ARTs PARTner.

That's why we launched our Membership Campaign. Our goal is 1,000 members at just TEN Dollars and currently we are 170 members strong and growing! We are incorporated, non-profit tax exempt and tax deductible with a Board of Directors and several very successful events under our belt. We've laid a stable foundation.

Now that we've got all our ducks in a row and a facility to begin programming we are confident we will grow exponentially and our potential is limitless.. As a member of CNY Arts Center, you'll receive regular updates on all our progress and if you want to get involved, there will always be something fun to do!
